Working  Principle

At the up stroke, the plungers rises, the volume of the lower working chamber B increases, the pressure decreases, the Standing valve 8 opens, and the oil and gas enter the chamber B. Meantime,the volume of the upper working chamber A  decreases, the oil-gas mixture in chamber A is compressed for a second time, the pressure increases, the upper traveling valve 4 opens, the lower traveling valve 7 closes, and the oil-gas mixture is discharged from the pump through the upper plunger.

During the down stroke, the plunger descends, the volume of chamber B decreases, the pressure increases, the volume of chamber A increases, and the pressure decreases. Under the pressure difference between chambers A and B, the Lower Travelling Valve 7 quickly open, and the oil-gas mixture in chamber B enters chamber A. Since the annular area of the lower working chamber B is larger than that of the upper working chamber A, when all the oil and gas of the larger volume in the lower working chamber B enters the upper working chamber A of the smaller volume, the oil and gas volume will be compressed (in essence, the gas will be compressed) and the pressure will increase.

 Installation

Before setting the pump into the well, the seating nipple should be put into the precalculated position along with the oil tube string. Then put the pump into the well with the sucker rod string , and pump is fixed and sealed by seating nipple. Plunger, valve rod is connected with sucker rod. The plunger makes reciprocating motion under the drive of sucker rod and realizes pumping function. When pulling out the pump, lift sucker rod and the pump will be lifted along with it.
